long week...longer weekend...

NO School today!! Is there ever any school ??? Back in MY day...well...thats another story.

This week flew by...got called to the school cause C-man had a collision in gym . He apparently whacked heads with his buddy (who incidentally is the smallest kid in his class) and walked away with a nice black eye. When I got there it was swollen shut....but now its just a nice shade of purple. Oh yeah...the other kid....not a mark on him!

We have been out throwing the ball around when we have a spare minute...trying to bike ride ..yardwork...the weather has been absolutely amazing....

DH has made it home once this week while I have been trying to hold down the fort.

Tonight we are off to HAYwarden..home of great people and an even better drawl. C-man has a couple of exhibition games in Regina, then back to Toon town for practises on sunday.

Ok...so after all my worry and panic, and hair pulling, and and and I think DH and I have cancelled each others tax returns out again.....kinda like when we vote....yeesshhh.....all that worry for nothing...when will I learn?

And ....one more thing....if you didnt see tonights "Madonna" themed GLEE....IT WAS FREAKIN AWESOME!! I knew I was a gleek when it first started....now I might even join their fan club.

They must know my motto...."I wish my life was a musical, cause even when it gets sucky, you're still singing....so how bad could it be?" right?

hockey hockey

Hey y'all....this glob thing has been going really slow lately....but here is a peek of whats going on...

C-man had his first exhibition game for spring hockey. They started off really slow, but ended up winning 6-2 ( i think...) He played well - very defensively - but a good start of the season.

R-dog isnt in love with tagging along - thats for sure - unless we are taking him to Grandma and Grandpa Golfers....where he likes to try to beat grandmas score....He really is enjoying the golfing....

I am still working on books of every kind - you think I would have finished one by now! But no such luck....

This weekend we are off to Regina for two more exhibition games...then back to toon town for practises on sunday. Still not sure who is going where or how....but I am sure it will be a game time decision as DH is in Border town all week....

I said I wasnt going to post until Velvis did. And dammit she posted twice.

There really has been nothing going on here..C-man started spring hockey. Practises have been going well, and I got sucked into managin, again. They have their first exhibition game on sunday in the big city. It will be interesting to see how they do. (Its also very interesting to meet the new people on our team...one of them is very good friends with an old college friend of mine (who just happened to be in my wedding party)....maybe I can send my xmas card back with her!!

Retzky was anxiously awaiting ball season until the last nasty snow storm hit ...now he has been playing hockey in the back yard, waiting for the snow to leave. We have had about 1.5 inches of rain to boot...which will be good to calm the dust down.

DH is back here in town, as they laid off a bunch of guys...I cant keep track of his comings and goings...he just peeks his head in once in awhile.

And me...so dang busy at work and trying to find time to finish up one hockey teams books, while starting another. (And possibly getting sucked into another hockey job)....clearly I cant say no.

Try to have some funny posts/pics/life events shortly....
