Goings on

Its been awhile since I have been posting. Again, sometimes life gets in the way. Or else, sometimes you just dont feel like doing it....damnit!

Ok, since I am now in a NEW AGE BRACKET (no longer can tick 30-39 box in the survey box) I cant be held responsible for my memory lapses. Alright?

Retzky has been busy with hockey. His shoulder is all healed up and his first round of playoffs for league starts this weekend against Humboldt. First game here on saturday, then we go up there on sunday. He is also very very busy texting girls....and lots of em. And yes, my hair is grey....I have an appointment next week. He also found out that tackle football registration is next week and really wants to join....aarrrgghh. Which means, that he may not play baseball :( We're going to try to do both, but we will see how it all pans out. Yes, I said I am turning grey!

Chaser has also been busy with hockey. In between exhibition games and tourneys, and travelling- it doesnt leave him much time for anything else. Except, of course, cleaning. I think he has cleaned and reorganized his room (including his closet) about 3 times this past month. Guitar is still going, but we both have petered out somewhat. I guess when hockey slows down, we will dedicate more time (hopefully??)

I have been super crazy busy with work again- and working a lot more hours than I should be. I also have been trying some new recipes - one of them has become a staple. Egg muffins (like omlettes in a muffin tin) - with only 56 calories. And its a hit! (at least with the adults...)

Now, the big fella and I are on a healthy kick again (why is this a reocurring theme??) Gotta try to slim up for the big Vegas trip!! soooo exciting......

This weekend, I am going to try to make it to Border City for a hockey tourney, make it to both of the league playoff games (here and away), see my M'ville niece play in a hockey tourney here, and see my oldest niece play in a bball tourney here....

think we can do it all? we're gonna try!

Happy Valentines Day!!

For those of you who fall for this "holiday"...happy Valentines day. Flowers are nice (for those that dont kill them), chocolates are delish (for those of us that can eat them and not grow two inches) and cards are special.

But, I dont get why we have to spend a whole lot of money to tell people that you love them. I love you all year long, baby. I just am too cheap to buy you things. ok?

Its been awhile since I have posted - all is the same here - except Retzky is now in a sling. He did something to his AC? joint and some ligament strain around it....or something like that. Fell funny into the boards after being checked.....supposed to be wearing the sling for 5 days...its been 3 and he is still in a lot of pain. Gonna have to ship him out to the farm to start chuckin bales to toughen him up, I guess!!

He is at the end of the season - has one league game left (on sunday) ...then league playoffs.

C-man is also winding down....one big tourney left in Border City, then I think he is just about done as well.

As for me, I am counting the hours down now until I am up on that hill....my midlife crisis has set in. Cut the hair off first, next is a convertible.....then Vegas, baby!!
