Here is an updated photo of my nieces and nephew....and ma and pa, at Easter time.  The youngest entertained us all weekend long.  (I know the other two probably did as well, but the wee ones always manage to steal the spotlight!)

We also have a new little cuz'n on DH's side of the family as well.  We havent got to meet him in person yet, but the pictures on FB are ADORABLE......

Now we are waiting for one more little bundle to arrive.....any time now......c'mon, I mean it...ANYTIME now......

sporting weekend

So, goofball #1 is super excited - crazy pumped to start football.  We picked up equipment on tuesday (look how studly and muscular he is) and his first practise is in two days.  Every monday and weds for the next two months.  I will have to do a before and after shot.

The next goofball (see self portrait) is off to Calgary this weekend to play in a hockey tourney.  The two of them (goofball #3 aka daddy and him) are all alone, and by the sounds of it are having a great time.  Unfortunately we had 2 ties today.  According to some the reffing has been all against us, and we have out played....but not on the scoreboard.  We have had goals disallowed, spent the majority of the time on a penalty kill and still managed 2 ties.  I guess there is something to be said for that.  Tomorrow they come across an unbeaten team.  We just gotsta win one!!

Bye Bye Birdies (and porcupines)

Ok, first and last pictures are of our "old yard".  Stupid computers make my brain hurt.  After a full day of cutting, chopping and loading branches to the dump.....we are left with - well - not many trees.  The monsoon winds didnt help anything.  BUT- our help was awesome!!
